LIVERPOOL – Brendan Rodgers akhirnya resmi dipecat
sebagai manajer Liverpool untuk musim ini. Perihal kebenaran kabar
tersebut diungkapkan langsung oleh para petinggi Fenway Sports Group
(FSG) selaku pemilik The Reds yakni John W Henry, Tom Werner, dan Mike
Gordon.
“Kami semua ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Brendan Rodgers
atas kontribusi signifikan yang telah dia berikan untuk klub ini, dan
kami mengucapkan rasa bangga kami atas kerja keras serta komitmennya,”
tulis pernyataan resmi FSC, seperti dilansir situs resmi klub, Senin
(5/10/2015).
“Kami semua telah merasakan beberapa momen yang sangat indah saat
Brendan Rodgers menjadi manajer kami, dan kami yakin dia akan menikmati
kariernya yang panjang di sepakbola,” sambung pernyataan tersebut.
Selain itu pihak FSG berjanji akan menemukan suksesor Rodgers secepat
mungkin. Terlebih, Liverpool sendiri masih harus melakoni musim
2015-2016 yang masih sangat panjang.
“Meski musim ini berjalan sulit, kami percaya masih ada kesempatan
terbaik untuk mendapat kesuksesan di atas lapangan. Kami punya ambisi
dan semangat menang di dalam hati kami untuk membawa Liverpool sukses,
serta kami yakin bahwa pergantian ini adalah kesempatan terbaik untuk
mendapatkannya,” tuntas pernyataan tersebut.
LIVERPOOL – Brendan Rodgers has finally officially fired as Manager of Liverpool for this season. The news disclosed the truth of the matter directly by the officers of the Fenway Sports Group (FSG) as owner of The Reds namely John w. Henry, Tom Werner, and Mike Gordon.
"We all want to thank Brendan Rodgers has been the significant contributions he gave to this Club, and we say our pride over the hard work as well as his commitment," wrote an official statement FSC, as reported by the official website of the Club, Monday (5/10/2015).
"We all have felt some wonderful moments when Brendan Rodgers became Manager of us, and we are sure he will enjoy his long career in soccer," chimes in the statement.
In addition the parties promise FSG will find suksesor Rodgers as quickly as possible. Moreover, his own Liverpool still have to traverse season 2015-2016 which is still very long.
"Despite this season's run hard, we believe there is still the best opportunity for success at the top of the field. We have the ambition and spirit of winning our hearts to bring Liverpool's success, and we are confident that this turnover is the best chance to get it, "the statement has been completed.
